Peak District National Park and Derbyshire

peak-district-national-parkWelcome to the ‘Peak District National Park and Derbyshire’ section of my blog.

In this section ‘Peak District National Park and Derbyshire’, you’ll find the best places and visits s you can discover a part of this beautiful mountainous region of England.

The Peak District is the oldest national park in England. It’s very famous for its outdoors activities. So if you love hiking or cycling and basically any outdoors activities visiting this area will make you very happy. There are many walks to do for beginners but also experts such as Stanage Edge and Mam Tor who are so far my favourites.

It’s also a region of England with strong history links with Normandy, my hoe country. Since the conquest of William the Conqueror, his companions have built many castles, like the one in Bolsover for example.

I therefore recommend visiting this area during a trip to England as there are many must-see places to visit.

My three most beautiful experiences in the Peak District and Derbyshire among many others in this category?

The visit of Chatsworth Castle, which is a must in Derbyshire. An architectural English beauty and a garden full of surprises.

Stanage Edge, for its impressive cliff of nearly 6km long. The view from the top is really unique and exceptional.

Villages fairs such as the ones in Woolley Moor or Ashover are perfect for meeting the locals! An unusual experience that creates very good memories.
