Welcome to the section ‘Eure France: The best things to do’ of my blog
In this section ‘Eure France: The best things to do’ of my blog, I invite you to discover what to see through the must-see places and discover this beautiful area in Normandy.
Normandy is made up of five departments including Eure. It’s not one of the most famous departments, however as you’ll see it has lots to offer!
It’s in this department in France that the well-known impressionist painter Claude Monet found many of his inspirations. He decided to live there and today you can even visit Claude Monet’s garden and house in Giverny.
My three most beautiful experiences in Eure among many others in this section.
Once again, I think it would be hard not to mention Giverny, the garden of the famous painter Claude Monet. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped in to one of his paintings and are back in time.
Pont Audemer, which is only a few kilometers from Honfleur is definitely worth a visit. The village is authentic with its Norman architecture.
‘Le sentier de l’Anguille’: a great walk to do where you can see horses from Camargue, Scottish cows and storks.
