Hello, I told the big news few days ago, my adventure in New York ended after 2 years (but don’t worry I still have plenty to tell you about this city and the rest of my travels in the US), and I started a new expatriation on Jersey Channel Island, in the UK.
You can imagine there’s a big difference between Manhattan (with its 1.5 million inhabitants) and Jersey (100,000 inhabitants)! Both have their charms and assets, but last June my heart chose Jersey for several reasons: the stunning landscapes, the British atmosphere (with pubs, rugby games, the sexy british accent…you see what I mean), it’s a Anglo Norman island (#chauvinism) and above all, people! I didn’t know anybody in this island, and yet I managed to settle in just a few months by contacting people on LinkedIn, who introduced me to other people … and at the end it took me only 3 weeks to find a position here in marketing! I felt like I met more people here in 2 weeks than in 2 years in New York!
Can’t wait to tell you more about this new British adventure, in the meantime, I give you a little preview of Jersey with the pictures bellow!
Boujou (the Norman way to say XOXO)
